Dread Tomax's Guide to City of Villains

I started playing City of Heroes back in August 2004. At that time the game had not been released the the EU so I, like many other European gamers, downloaded the US version of the game and played on the US servers. Nearly a year later City of Heroes finally recieved a European release, I didn't join the EU servers straight away because of the friends I had made in-game and at the time doign so would mean starting over completely from scratch, abandoning the characters I'd spent the best part of a year building.

Six months down the line and City of Villains was released, along with a character transfer facility, allowing European gamers on the US servers to copy their characters onto the European servers if they so wished. I planned on moving from the US servers to the EU ones, but life kind of got in the way.

When some semblance of normality returned to life I decided to resume playing on the US servers, the pull of many year-long friendships was too much to resist.

Much like Red Tomax's guide to City of Heroes, this guide will grow over time. My first priority will be getting the main story arcs, stike forces and trials listed.

Announcing: City Info Tracker!

As you may have noticed, City Info Terminal and City Game Tracker have been down for a long time. In this period, we've laid the groundwork to merge the two sites into one, unified new site: City Info Tracker.

Important Note: The new CIT site requires a Titan Key. For new users, this shouldn't mean a whole lot - but pre-existing CIT or CGT users that never made the jump will need to create a Titan Key, and then contact support@cohtitan.com to get their old CIT and CGT accounts linked up with their Titan Key. Make sure your email contains as much information about your accounts as possible, so we can quickly find your data and link you up! (An automated process is being worked on but wasn't quite ready for the launch.)

Also note that for now, TNT and HeroStats information that was updated since we took the old sites down, and until announced otherwise will not automatically update your data here. We understand that's a vital portion of the service and are working hard to restore that functionality.

Without getting into all the details (which can be read on the new CIT Home page), suffice it say that we're excited for the opportunities this brings us, and we hope you are too!

Michael Turner dead at 37 after 8 year battle with Cancer

Michael Turner, owner of Aspen Comics and one of my all-time favorite comic book artists, died yesterday at the age of 37 after an 8 year battle with cancer. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

State of Titan Address - CIT and CGT

As many of you know, you can not currently access the City Information Terminal or City Game Tracker websites. We've been battling some serious hosting issues for the past few weeks and have decided it's time to take more drastic measures.

While we're sure many of you are waiting for the return of these sites, we decided to take advantage of this situation and implement some rather ambitious plans regarding the future direction of both CIT and CGT. We'll be sure to release more details as soon as we have some to share. =]

Lastly, we'd like to extend a huge thanks to everyone for your support and understanding as we overhaul these sites to be even more useful for the community.

The long awaited day is finally here! Mids and the Titan Network are extremely excited to announce that the official Issue 12 compatible version of Mids Hero Designer is now LIVE!

We at the Titan Network are incredibly excited to announce that Mid's Hero Designer is now a part of the Titan Network!

Soon, you'll be able to download Mid's Hero Designer software (and any subsequent updates) straight from www.cohplanner.com!

It's always been a challenge for the US players to directly contact or interact with Mids, considering he is a European player. Now that he's part of the Titan Network, players from both sides of the ocean can feel free to chat with him directly on the Titan Forums!
